- Acute and
chronic lameness can be evaluated by our veterinarians using routine
medical practices and/or the application of eastern medicine. We offer
conformation and gait evaluation using hoof testers, limb flexion,
regional and intra-articular anesthesia as well as information gained
from acupuncture and chiropractic evaluation.
- We have a particular interest in horses with poor performance and enhancing performance of horses competing at high levels.
- Diagnostic
imaging can be performed using radiographs to evaluate bony changes
and/or ultrasound to e valuate tendons, ligaments, and soft tissue.
- We offer a
complete approach to treating lameness that focuses on long-term
results. Treatment may include medical therapy, joint injections,
farrier consultation, and/or chiropractic and acupuncture treatments.
